About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Software Developer who will be instrumental in supporting and enhancing our existing software platforms.

Requirements
RESPONSIBILITIES
Collaborate with the development team to design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code based on Java and React.
Assist in managing and optimising databases using SQL.
Work under an agile environment to ensure software is developed and released according to a predetermined schedule.
Proactively learn new technologies to increase versatility and productivity.
Contribute to the troubleshooting, testing, and debugging of new and existing software to ensure robustness and quality.
DESIRED SKILLS &EXPERIENCE
A degree holder in Computer Science or a related discipline.
Demonstrated expertise in Java and React.
Prior experience with database management and SQL.
A deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
Proficiency in algorithms and data structures.
Exceptional communication abilities.
A cooperative team player and creative problem-solving mindset.
NICE TO HAVE
Previous experience in mobile app development.
Previous exposure to web development technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Familiarity with PHP and Laravel.
Comfortable with using Linux.
